Mood Board Contents Page

The contents page from the music magazine XXL magazine shows a variety of conventions of a good contents page for a music magazine. This contents page includes perfectly aligned and numbered text donate initiate easy reading and to allow readers to continue onto the page if they want to view the article. This magazine also includes conventions such as sub headings as such to inform the reader what is beneath the heading and what to expect in advance, this contents page also has one big image taking up the majority of the space which makes sure that text does not crowd the page and at the same time leaving the page aesthetically pleasing to the reader. The contents page from Rap Fanatic follows some of the same conventions as XXL magazine which also means that these conventions are essential to a good and successful contents page. However in this contents page the text is much smaller and the central image takes up the whole page in order for the audience to know who will be on the double page article further in the magazine and emphasise that this artist is the star of this issue of the magazine. Finally the contents page for the magazine Soundproof uses various conventions such as a variety of colours in their contents page which is done in order to show the colour scheme that the creators showed and also to emphasise certain areas of the contents page and get readers to read those specific areas for a particular reason. This contents page also included conventions such as quotes and consistent font throughout the features text this is done in order to retain professionalism throughout the contents page and throughout the rest of the magazine.
